We had our first giving last weekend. 9 families came, and we gave out 24 Snuggle Kits. I am hoping to reach more of the families by letters and hope that by providing 2 days with different times more families will be able to come.
I am learning things as I go and I have thought of a new idea. I am going to get vacuum sealed bags and seal the pillow and bedding in these. I noticed that families who received more than 1 kit, it was hard for them to transport the big bundle and the cot. I will keep tweaking as i go until it's 'just right.'
As far as me this week......vomit has been the theme. All 4 kids, Brent, and my mom, were puking at some point. I've been using straight bleach to clean all surfaces, praying I've been spared this round.
