Big order today!!!
So here is my plan of attack. The shipment should arrive to me Feb. 20th. I will take volunteers March 2nd to make the Snuggle Kits. March 9th will be the 1st 'Giving of Snuggles.' day. I will collect recipients names and info between now and March 9th. I will contact the families who I have Snuggle Kits for and they will come to Snuggled Up Head Quarters to pick their kits. I will not deliver the kits. The Head Quarters is on a major bus line if transportation is an issue.
Volunteers: If I do not know you personally I will need a copy of 2013-2014 background check before I can allow you to help. This is my family, and safety is an issue.
If you are on here and want to request beds for your children, or know children in need, the information I need sent to me is the following: Names (first and last) and ages of children. Current address. Phone Number. Parent(s) Name. Where the children are currently sleeping. I need this info for my records and to prove to the IRS I am indeed giving the Snuggled Kits to real people. This information will be private and only used for my records.
I'm trying to work the kinks out. Things, dates, times may change....but all involved need to be flexible and know that this is a learning curve for me:)
