We celebrated with the kiddos this year, as we do every year. Board games, silliness, and running up and down the court at midnight blowing horns and screaming. It was fun, but I am ready for a nap! First I want to reflect on 2013.
Early last spring I found out that Snuggled Up was chosen as their non-profit for this years magical gifts of giving. This has given my project a lot of exposer and positive feedback. I am excited looking ahead to 2014. I have short term goals which include finishing and giving out the Snuggle Kits to the children on my current list. My long term goals are massive, but that is why they are long term. I want to start other chapters of Snuggled Up in other states. I want Snuggle Kits to be available to any child in need, but I know I can't do this alone,
2013 exceeded any expectations I had. I'm in love with all aspects of my life, my husband, children, career, and Snuggled Up. Do I have my bad days and break down and cry? Yup. Do I throw fits, regret words I say, or act in a way that is not nice? Yup. However in 2014 I strive to do it a little less:)
I'm just like many of you. My van has over 100,000 miles. My house has drywall issues. My kids aren't perfect, and my husband and I do have arguments. I have a full time job, juggled sports for my children and yet still try be a good Mommy. Snuggled Up as help me grow as a person. I realize the material things people buy are to impress others and I'm not up for that, My family and friends know me in a hat and jeans, perfect attire in my book.
I'm looking forward to expanding Snuggled Up in 2014....I'll keep you updated:)
Snuggles and smiles,
Trisha
