Today was filled with many gifts that made me grin. I hope anyone who even bothers to check in with this silly blog of mine enjoyed a couple grins of their own. My day started out with bagels. Our school delivered bagels to all the other schools in our district, and it was so appreciated!
The next grin came from a child in my class. She asked me the other day where her and her mom could go for dinner on Easter that was free. I told her at the time I didn"t know of anywhere, but the more I thought about it...I did know somewhere. I called Bob Evans and ordered her and her mom an Easter feast for Easter day. I called her mom and told here where and when to pick it up. I then told the little girl....she sqeezed me tight and wouldn't let go and whispered thank you.
Another giggle and grin came from a silly dance I did for some Dayton Flyer Students....Oh my gosh, I hope it doesn't hit YouTube! They asked me to do a little song and dance for their video they were making with the Non-Profit Group, Shoes for the Shoeless, so I did! After my song and dance I met some wonderful souls volenteering for Shoes for the Shoeless. I am trying to make contacts with everyone I meet in hopes of spreading the word.
I also met with a Church close to my school today in hopes that they too will get involved....they were very excited about Snuggled Up, and I envision a great partnership with them.
Thank you to everyone who is a part of this journey with me.
